Journal - Day 7 of January 2018 Whole30

A week! I've made it a whole week! The break from cooking on Thursday was really rejuvenating, I have to say.

Breakfast was leftover vegetables (carrots, Brussels sprouts) from dinner along with an Aidell's sausage. I forgot my guacamole, so I knew I would be hungry. Sure enough, around 10:30-11, my stomach started rumbling so I had some salted almonds.

Lunch was a romaine salad with the leftover chicken. I put the chicken on the bottom of my salad to catch the extra balsamic dressing.

Dinner was quick and easy shrimp scampi. I bought some frozen shrimp to keep at home in case I needed a quick snack, but hey, it turned into quick dinner. Microwaved some frozen cauli rice and frozen broccoli, dinner ready in about ten minutes.




















I remembered to prep my Friday AND Saturday food, since I'll be seeing my trainer Friday afternoon.

What went well today: Feeling like a prepping queen!
What could have gone better: More sleep!
What I'll do tomorrow: Make my shopping list for Saturday.

NSV: Resisted a sweet mochi dessert when offered.
